The gallery's 20th birthday exhibition

The Faur Zsófi Gallery opened its doors on the 11th of September 2001, on Ráday Street. This year, we are able to celebrate the gallery’s 20th birthday on Bartók Béla Boulevard. The jubilee exhibition titled 20 years, 20 stories, 20 artists showcase the iconic artworks and stories of fifteen currently represented artists and five who are no longer represented. The stories explain the significance of each artwork from the artists’ point of view, at times describing their connection to the gallery, and at other times recounting a quoin-stone of their career.
